It#39;s a suprise... delve inside to see more#33

Written by Cherry
No regrets.

When I take a glance back at what was
I see things that shouldn't have been
There were times when you too were wrong
It couldn't always be me
Yet I lived this lie without a care in the world
I let it mould me and shape who I was
The smile on my face
Is now hagged and old
My eyes are tired from your lie
Was I too weak?
Should I have stood my ground?
Yet you'd taken my land away
All of my possesions, my life and loves
Were "ours" and no longer mine.
Lessons were taught and lessons were learnt
But I don't regret that we've reached the end.
